I booked a cottage, anticipating a lovely getaway by the lake, but ended up highly disappointed with the old and smelly accommodations. Though the staff was friendly, the dining options were overpriced compared to local restaurants. For a better experience, I suggest avoiding the old cottages and opting for newer ones instead.
My stay here was quite mixed. The location is fantastic, close to the lake, which is a definite plus. Unfortunately, the old cottages left much to be desired—dark, smelly, and not exactly what I envisioned for a relaxing getaway. While the staff was pleasant and accommodating, I wouldn't recommend staying in the older accommodations.
